Clock wiring

Decided to pull the center bezel today & take a shot at repairing my non-working clock. When I got it out I found my problem...No wiring harness to the clock! I can't find any loose plugs, no extra sub-harnesses or loose wiring in the general area of the clock. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't remember the clock being an option. Am I missing something here?

You are the 1415th victim of the dummy harness plug on the console fascia. If memory serves, your clock harness will be found plugged into a hole that does nothing, a few inches below and to the driver's side of the clock. Just move it--your clock might even work! Mine doesn't...

Found the wiring just like you said. Pulled the clock apart after it didn't work to do the fix, somebody already was there & melted the shit out of the circuit board trying to fix it! Oh well, looks like a good place to mount a couple rocker switches for my lights!
