I recently shipped one from TN to Cali and it cost me $72 dollars FedEx ground based upon the size of the box. It only weighed 10.9 pounds. I can't find the box dimensions at the moment.

It's in Australia. If they can order you a model#SS136R then you should be in business. People have been using the Hilux 167 knockoff successfully for a while. I started thinking about it and realized they had to knock it off from somewhere, and then I realized Safari probably made the Hilux 167 snorkel. Sure enough they do and asking two different Safari retailers they have confirmed the price is $315. I think it should be cheaper since it sells for $228 AUS, which is $175 USD, but that's what I'm told is retail to get it here. I already committed to buy one from Sierra Expeditions but if you can get the group buy to get that one then you might get a better deal.

Some of the Cali guys were trying to order and have them shipped to me.. and then pay shipping to get it back to them to avoid paying cali taxes
