I'm pretty sure I can. This was the only 2 pin double throw I could find in town and was the last thing I need to test this whole project, so it will do the job for now.

Paddle shifted my way home after work today, good feeling it actually works after 3 months of work! Road testing has only been 3 miles so far though.
Only thing left is to figure out what to do about the converter lockup control. After looking at the internals of one of the converters and seeing how incredibly weak it looks I will probably just put it on toggle for highway driving.

talk to texasace over on yotatech(eww i cant believe even saying that name on t4r), i think it was him who had a bigger and or stronger tq converter installed after his SC ate up his tranny. -i used to have all that info bookmarked on my computer, but it crashed an i lost everything... :sadwave::smashputer:. anyhow yeah there is a company back east that (re)builds the tq converters and makes better valve bodies, you might want to look into them or see what they do and do that yourself.

Now that the paddle shift is done I'm going to try and get back to getting my air inlet up higher before something bad happens. I can't just put 3" pipe up the side because I can't see anything out the side mirror. I found some oval pipe but it's ridiculously expensive and round to oval transitions are even more expensive, and it isn't even the material I want to use. I was bored today and may of found a way to make my own oval aluminum tube, tested it on some leftover intercooler pipe I had laying around.

you could always run it inside the cab and cut a hole in the roof, and seal both ends, you a section of flexable exhaust tube/pipe for the the allowance of flex between the body and frame. like basically go from the turbo up to the body, and just before you enter the cab, put that flex pipe in, then you can seal up the holes at the floor and roof with rubber seals and silicone. you can run it at the same spot as your pic, just on the inside. that way you dont have to worry about vision... just a thought i had...

That was a possibility but I wasn't very excited about cutting holes in the body, this way I can just cut a hole in the bumper and attach it to the roof rack.

i know the look of the snorkel for me is just as important as its fuction, not gonna lie, its cool showing it off via driving around with it everyday. it turns heads and and makes people point and some even ask questions about it... so that coupled with not drilling holes in the body, i could get why you like the outside route better... i just am not sure i would like the aesthetics of it outside in the rear... to me i think it would look more like a exhaust stack and not a snorkel and that would look silly imo. i like the idea of through the cab personally, and if it was my truck and i had your skills this is what id do.

So figuring I can oval out 2.5" to 1.5" that's crushing about 40% so the 3" should squeeze down to about 1.8" Went out and did some measuring, at 1.8" it won't stick out any further than the fender flare therefore not causing a view obstruction, hopefully anyway. And it will need a 25 degree bend halfway up too.
