well, I would say prove it, but I would prefer he use my 4runner to prove it!
If yours didn't work out he could always use mine!

Prove it :snacker:
it would be so easy...
basically you would have to unhook the wire giving signal to the starter when you turn the key to the start position. basically use that wire to wire in the push start and as soon as you turn the key to the "run" position then you could press the start button and it would do the same thing as turning the key the rest of the way... thats how Honda did it with the S2000. except the key would only turn to the "run" position then from there you had to press the button. but with our trucks you will always have the ability to turn the key to the"start" position cause thats how the ignition was designed.
i suppose you could set it up to opperate both ways, ie starting with only the use of tuning the key all the way to the "start" position or just turning the key to the "run" where it would energize the push button, then you could use that to start the truck.
but i guess now i have to ask why? that would be way to ricey and cheep, something thor would do... there is no benefit what so ever to the push button(and no it would not make your truck any easier to steal). at least the paddle shifters requires some ingenuity and skills, and its also a functional/enhancement mod.

I pretty much covered all the steps in my build thread, I guess I could compile everything together just haven't had the time. Also there are so many different ways to do it, it's kind of just a guideline in a way. Feel free to ask any questions though, it's a pretty basic system.
Ya I looked though your thread and I see you have random shots and discriptions of the fabrication process. Thing is, a "basic" turbo system to me is still jiberish. I mean I know how they work. But actually construting one in a different issue. The key to my title was the "for dummies" part haha
im sorry but i don't think the 4runner is gonna win , the nissan engine is just so much more superior in power
