not till we make a snorkel for his rig. look at his other thread and you will see him do a water crossing. The water is still about 6-7" form his turbo.

Have come to the conclusion that there just isn't enough room underneath for a safe place for the intake because the truck sees lots of water/mud. If it was a taco I would drill a hole in the bed, but I'm not putting the intake inside the 4runner and not drilling holes in the body.
So looking for ideas, suggestions, thoughts, placement, materials?
Maybe something like one of these, idk.

What's up CM,
I would look towards option 3 or 4, strictly from a perspective of design and placement. Both are similar to other like-kind snorkles already on the market.
IMO, option 4 is the most direct route from where the exhaust currently exits the undercarriage. Further to answer your concerns for resale, it would be most familar to buyers as opposed to option 3 which cuts through the body enroute to the roof.
Either way, unless you get creative which would more than likely involve cutting into the body. I see the above mention options as the most direct solution to water, snow and slush this winter.
