Cluster Gauge Pointers

I think cluster gauges with white pointers look kind of plain. I have always liked the look of orange or red pointers.

I sorta like the professional appearance of the orange and red lighting scheme that Toyota used in the 4R, it doesn't have all the fluff of a car-like suv (highlander) and retains a professional, more serious down to business look.

Studies have proven that the red/orange color is the easiest on the eyes when glancing down at your guages then back up at the street.

Supposedly it takes less time to refocus on the road if looking at orange/red text.

I'll bet that's why BMW has refused to change their gauges.

I was sold on the Limited after my first test drive and I saw the laser pointer effect of the needles.

Come to think of it... actually, I placed the special order for mine before the test drive.
