Clutch is done

I've only got a few thousand miles on it, but so far I've been very happy with my Marlin clutch. Wouldn't hesitate to do it again.

I just ordered all my parts to do the clutch last week from Marlin crawler. Their shipping killed me, still haven't gotten all the parts in yet though.

I keep seeing good things about them. Any reason not to do the master and slave cylinders also? Until now I have never had any type of issues with the clutch.

shipping issues seems to be the bane of Marlin's existence

OP- if you want to replace the cylinders now, go for it. I had a clutch master cylinder survive 3 transmissions. Up to you.

They are easy enough to replace on their own without having to do the clutch. Im opting to do them when they actually give out and save a little money.

It's a great clutch combo that they sell; some thing to remember, when they set me mine and I am in Canada, the throwout bearing was for a different model year and I should have read the box before starting into the job. Their Canadian supplier did however credit me for the item. I would buy another clutch from them never the less.

im a little concerned, I placed the order with them on the 13th, shipping info says it should be here by the 20th (i planed to do the job on the 24th, but they haven't updated anything about shipping since the "label created" notification.

I like my lc engineering clutch setup. They ship fast too. 15k or so on nine and still feels like new. Great feel for an HD.

I did the Marlin Crawler 1200lbs clutch kit, went with a new OEM flywheel and dowel pins, and put in an oem rear main seal. Don't forget to do that, cheap insurance and peace of mind. I've been very happy with the clutch, smooth no issues. Job was pretty straight forward. Just don't forget about the rear end plate, it's bolted to the bottom of bellhouseing with four 10mm's I belive.

No issues with fitment shipping or wrong parts.

I would definitely recommend replacement of the fly and even marlin says get OEM rather than their flywheel if you call and ask them about it. Good luck getting through on the phone though. They're a pretty damn busy bunch.

I like my Napa Kevlar/Ceramic clutch, great feel and doesn't slip even when I romp on it. We usually do the slave cylinder while it's off just for good measure, the master should be fine though. You shouldn't need to replace your flywheel, just get it resurfaced, just like a brake rotor.

Thanks for the note on the flywheel, I was going to order the Marlin

I have that clutch sitting here waiting to go in this next week. I have actually had it for over a year because I bought it last year over their 4th of july sale for 10% off and free shipping.
