Clutch sticks to the floor.

Hi guys. I have a 93 with the 3.0. I put a new clutch/pressure plate, and throw out bearing in a couple thousand miles ago. I also replaced the master and slave. Just a few minutes ago the clutch pedal started sticking to the floor. Barely made it to my destination with the clutch completely on the floor. Haven't had a chance to even look at it but I'm sitting here at my kids swim lessons so I thought I would start doing some research.

Check for leaks..
Pass side close to firewall there's a line prone to leaking its a soft line not hard check that.
Check pedal bracket, then look at master/slave maybe bleed it

A co-workers truck (95 3.0/5speed pickup) started doing the same thing, randomly, after he had his transmission changed.

Some times youll push the clutch in, and the pedal will stick to the floor, but you can feel its still in gear. Hes gotten pretty good at pulling the pedal back out with his foot, couple quick pumps, and its back to normal. No leaks, no parts missing.. Strangest thing. Were currently working on it... :wtf:

Could be one of the cylinders (master or slave) is defective. When mine did the same, I replaced the master cylinder, bled the system until only new fluid was coming out at the slave bleeder, and she ran just fine. They're not very expensive parts, and they're easy to replace (that is, if you've already verified that you have no leaks or other obvious issues). Oh yeah, like Hyde mentioned, you can snag the pedal with the side of your foot and pull it up if it does it while you're driving--otherwise the clutch will stay engaged and try to keep moving when you want to stop...not a good thing.

I checked the bracket again, that was fine. No leaks on the firewall where the rubber hose is. It turned out to be the Master. I replaced it yesterday and she is good to go.
