Would you recommend this on the spanner nuts/threads for coilovers? Currently I use WD40, but it washes off pretty easy.

Definitely. It will provide roughly 4-6 months of solid protection without any re-application and also mildly lubricate everything. Safe to spray down the entire shock and coil assembly as well as all other suspension components.
