Coilover w/spacer

Quick question, I was a jeep guy, had to sell and upgade to a better smoother ride so all my knowledge is jeep knowledge. So my question is with coilovers as you tighten them up to gain lift the harsher the ride gets.... So could you use a spacer like you would on stock and leave your coilover at stock to and inch to try to minimize this or is this something that will not install with an aftermarket coilover?

It will install with an aftermarket coil over bit the highest you can go is 3 inches without doing a major overall of front end components. I have my agtermarket bilsteins with eibach coils cranked up to the full 3 inches and the ride is better than stock

I have a daystar spacer lift now but will be getting c/o soon.

im guessing you mean adjustable coilovers, one of the reasons to get them is to be able to raise the front height where you want/need it, imo, its kinda silly to spend the extra $ on them & also use spacers, if you insist on using the daystar then just get 5100's & set em to "0" lift. http://www.toyteclifts.com/index.ph...tegory_id=111&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=72

What did you end up with? I have tundra and there is guy that stacked a spacer lift ontop of his adjustable coilover. He just know's he can't crank them too much, but the ride he said was great.

Are the coils on adjustable coilovers linear? I think that would any answer some of the original poster's question.
