Game of the weekend = Penn State over Ohio State. I hate James Franklin, but WOW. Amazing comeback.

Runner Up = SMU over Houston


LSU over Ole Miss was great too. LSU would be stupid to hire anyone other than Orgeron for the HC job. The energy he brings to LSU is undeniable. They're back on track. And good thing too, because we need them to beat Florida!

Yea no doubt - game of the week definitely goes to Penn State and Ohio. Huskies are definitely on the road to the CFP. There's a good chance they're heading to Atalanta instead of Pasadena. They have some tough football ahead of them starting with the Ute's this weekend.

I'll have to catch up on some of the highlights from the weekend when I get home tonight.

At last he's somewhere that his players would understand his Cajun growling... He's doing good things in Baton Rouge. I won't lie, though, I wasn't upset to see him leave Oxford a few years ago.

Huskies are definitely on the road to the CFP.

If Washington loses a single game, they're out. With Stanford dropping off, Utah is their only ranked opponent all year. Strength of schedule means a lot to the committee... but they DO respect unbeaten teams.

I won't lie, though, I wasn't upset to see him leave Oxford a few years ago.

Funny, I went to all of his Ole Miss vs Memphis games (05-07)... All of which he won! (I'm from Memphis but I hate the Tigers). It was always great watching an SEC team beat them, especially because of how much anti-SEC/ overrated crap they spit out. He sucked as y'alls HC other than that series! Haha.


Now that I think about it, every Ole Miss game I've ever been to, Ole Miss has won... including when Dexter McCluster ran all over my Vols, unfortunately.

Oh yeah, I was at that one.... 282 yards and 4 touchdowns by one man. Thoroughly enjoyed it :becky: Wish we had him back now.

Real test for the Dawg's today as they go against the Ute's. Huge game for Troy Williams. I'm hoping we can get on the board early and force a few turnovers. If we can shut down Joe Williams today we should finish up with a 10 pt spread.

Pretty sure the first 30 minutes will determine the outcome of this game.

This is the game to watch in the Pac 12 today. Let Purple Reign Again!!

Thought for sure Florida State was going to take care of Clemson yesterday. Im not sure how they escaped - again. So seriously, how much more can Deondre Francois continue to take a beating? He was being tossed around like a Raggedy Ann doll. Amazing what the Clemson defense did to him yesterday.

Clemson gets lucky on the games that should win rather easily and has showed grit and perseverance to win the close ones that were a toss up. Winning in the East Coast Death Valley has become addictive. They should be OK in November to win all scheduled games.

Browning's left footed pooch punt was a great call by Petersen, who is a great coach no doubt. :rockon:

Need to take care of California. The Pac 12 is making UW look good. Might fly out to Pullman over Thanksgiving for the Apple cup.

I think the last time the Apple Cup was in Pullman the Cougars pulled out a win. As much as I love Leach for putting Craig James's son back in the closet, I don't think he can win this one.

I think the last time the Apple Cup was in Pullman the Cougars pulled out a win. As much as I love Leach for putting Craig James's son back in the closet, I don't think he can win this one.

Ya think? It wouldn't be Kirby Hocutt, AD for Texas Tech and CFP chair now, would it? Ha! Bama killed Texas and they only have one decent win over Auburn. (Overrated in my opinon) This put's my Dawgs in a tough "must win" every game situation now. No injuries is really helping us this year. Honestly though, the Ducks and Stanford hurt us this year. Lost our strength in the Pac-12. Comes down to the Apple Cup now.

We need to take care of business at Berkley this weekend and for you guys, a LSU win over Bama would be awesome. It won't do us any good but I'll be cheering for LSU as well. A BAMA win locks in Orgeron. Mississippi needs to defeat Texas. Slim chance...

I finally got to watch UW on the tube, though the game started at 10:30 EST so by the time the 3rd quarter rolled around I was in dreamland. They are very impressive. Great quick strike capabilities. The Apple Cup this year should be a good one.:trophy:

Bama is the best. Their speed on the defensive side is incredible, no one else in college can match it.

Looks like the Apple Cup will determine the team from the North that gets to play in the PAC12 Championship. It has been awhile since the Apple Cup held this much at stake for both teams. Wish I could be there in Martin Stadium to see it. Go Cougs.

Yeah! Usually there's only something on the line for one team with the other team just trying to play spoiler.

And honestly, I wouldn't be sad to see them win the Pac-12 title, but miss out on the playoffs. If we were to make it, we'd most likely face Alabama. And I know I should be more optimistic, but I'm just not. Will be way more so next year. So, that would mean we would play in the Rose Bowl. Against maybe a team like Wisconsin? That would be a sick game!

But I'm certainly not going to complain if they do!

Cracraft's injury doesn't help the Cougs against the Huskies and I think Washington will beat us this year. The real winner is the state of Washington. I hope whoever wins the Cup beats the south winner. Enjoy Friday afternoon!
