That law seems a bit ridiculous. I'd be curious to know if anyone's actually ever been busted for that.

I just checked the exemptions, which I didnt see before. Looks like for temps 20F and under you are allowed to idle and warm the vehicle. I guess I assumed people typically only idle in cold weather. This law seems more targeted to people leaving their vehicles on unnecessarily in warm temps...

I have no idea but watch the allowed mileage and insurance requirements. Years ago I looked in to leasing but the limited allowed mileage and fees for going over that we're rediculous. They also required buying insurance through them which was even more outrageous. I don't know if it was the particular dealer or not but something to look at closely.
If you lease a vehicle in CO, is the registration still based on full MSRP?
