sometimes sellers or buyers replies to me end up in my junk mail or bulk mail folder.I listed a few things on Denver's craigslist a little over a week ago pretty cheap so I could get rid of them before the move and haven't gotten a single email. Back in FL, I'd at least get some lowball offers, trades, charity requests, and some offers to receive a bank transfer from someone's uncle in Nigeria.I was just wondering if it's different here and I hadn't noticed it yet.
So my wife and I have lately been exploring our options relocating to Colorado. Colorado Springs was our first choice, but it looks like I may have to wait a year for a position within company to open up there due to overstaffing.
Fort Collins...I might be able to transfer to sooner, maybe even this fall. For those with knowledge of the area, what do you think about life in Fort Collins? We want an outdoor lifestyle, with the conveniences of a sizable city.
Considering taking a drive up there to check things out. Anything a prospective resident should see on a scouting trip? Any guidance or suggestions are appreciated.
The college town aspect doesn't worry me too much, living in one now. Lubbock TX has a population of ~250,000, with over 35,000 being college students. Colorado springs has a big college presence as well, doesn't it?
