Colorado vs New England

I will be traveling to Colorado in the near future. I am contemplating picking up a blue 4runner with beige interior (an option not available in New England (as best I can tell).

Are east coast vehicles treated (ie - corrosion protection) differently than Midwest / West coast? With so much salt used on the roads in New England, I don't want to buy what I want only to have it turn into a rust bucket.

I'm not sure what you're asking but I can assure you that Colorado uses a nasty magnesium salt goo on our roads.
