CO 4Runners

Looking for a reputable mechanic or shop to fix a 94 4Runner. Possible blown gasket. Any help would be awesome so we can get our Storm Trooper back on the trails.

Have received quotes as high as $2400. :faint2:

Thanks!

Just bought a 16 TPE and want to get out on the trails and get it dirty Saturday. Any suggestions on what to start with near Denver?

I have one and in denver :D its black with a hood scoop, I get plenty of offers, It seems like Colorado has a high demand for them.

Everyone is going to the Colorado toyota jambore in salida.

Don't know why that event wasn't posted in this thread..

I did see that and would love to make it just not sure I can. If I can come in late (tomorrow morning) I might make it.
Was hoping that some who couldn't make it would be getting out up this way.
All good! Have a blast!

Yesterday I ended up taking a last minute trip up to Camp Dick and ran the Middle Saint Vrain trail up to the Coney Flats trail, crossed the water, and went down to Beaver Reservoir and back to Camp Dick. Worst thing that happened was a trucker burn on my arm.

I did see a couple nice looking 4Runners. One was a 4th gen with a t4r.org sticker pulling out of the Dunkin Donuts in North Boulder around noon, and then a very nice green lifted 3rd gen with plate bumpers and FJ wheels parked outside Oskar Blues in Lyons around 7.

I have some parts arriving for my 5th gen and am looking for a shop to do the install as I don't have the time. It will be 6112/5160 and Shrockworks sliders.

What shop do you all recommend near Golden or Boulder? How is Slee? Would they install parts not purchased through them?

Thanks!

Talk to Kevin at Johns 4x4 in Boulder. Good guy and they do good work. Slee tends to be a tad expensive, but they have a good reputation.
