I thought of picking one up myself just for an emergency.
Is a 4 ton enough , do they come bigger. The larger ones may have different pull ratios.
When dealing with something like this that can kill you if it snapped I would spend the money and go with a professional construction grade. I would not be comfortable with one for $19.00
