For Those who are running D2 driving with these mounts, how are they working out? Any high beaming or issues using them as on road fogs? Found a deal on D2's in driving and wondering if I should pull the trigger.
Care to share the deal? I'm interested.
From what I've read though, you'd be a maniac to run them as fogs, on the road.. They are extremely bright. You may be able to aim them down quite a bit, but they're still going to be excessive.

So does anyone know if with some modification you can get other brands of LED cubes to fit these Rigid Brackets? The cost difference is ridiculous between the $285 D2's on Amazon and other similar products for $100 or less.

Agreed, I had some cheap knockoffs on my FJ and I thought they were good until I got a real set for my 4Runner. Huge difference in quality and brightness.

Just installed these on my '16 SR5. Super easy install, only took about an hour, and I was able to do it all from under the truck rather than pulling the bumper cover. I also made my own wiring harness so I didn't have to cut into the factory wiring or snip the pigtails on the fog lights, which made the process even easier. Looking forward to checking them out once it gets dark. Thanks to [MENTION=120150]TotalAutomotiveLV[/MENTION] for the awesome pricing and support.

Pics of anything in particular? There are other pics in this thread that show the installation and end result. Very straightforward installation - if you've got a 10mm socket and a Phillips head screw driver, you're good to go. The passenger side fog light assembly is a little bit more difficult to access thanks to the washer fluid reservoir, but it's not that bad. The driver's side can just about be done without even pulling the fender well liners back.

Did mine before winter, was easy install with right tools. As for using my D2 Driving lights I need to perhaps adjust more because I can't drive anywhere with them on without getting flashed or a middle finger. I did just throw them in, do have adjustment I guess when warm enough i'll do that

I think from start to finish it was about 90 minutes, which included making the harness. The most time consuming part of the whole process was pulling the push-in fasteners in the passenger side wheel well since I didn't have the right tool. I ended up having to remove more fasteners to pull the fender well liner back further since there's more stuff in the way on that side. The driver's side was really easy. I just pulled 5 screws and was able to gain access to the back of the fog light assembly with no problem at all. You could pull the bumper cover, and it might save you some grief, but I chose to do it from underneath.
I got the SAE fogs, since I do want to use them on-road. I've got a 20" Radiance light bar on order for off-road duty. The SAE fogs are plenty bright, and if you take care aiming them correctly, you can drive with them and not blind oncoming traffic. I triple checked the aim last night and then drove around for about 30 minutes with the lights on, and nobody flashed me, including a couple of cops that I came across. So far so good.
Hey DuKane... I need your help. I tried installing these on my '16 Trail and I must be missing something for the install.
I tried installing the driver's side assembly. I see that there are (2) screws that hold the assembly in place on the outer side of the bracket utilizing the factory screw holes, but does the black tab on the inner side of the bracket, facing the passenger side, attach to anything on the bumper? From what I see, it just rests against the bumper. I tried tightening down the brackets, but the whole light assembly would wobble.
Also, does the fog light trim sit flush against the fog light bezel?
I think I must be missing something regarding the install. Any help or suggestions would be helpful.

Don't order the harness. They're on eternal backorder. I've been waiting for mine since January,and finally was able to install mine with help from [MENTION=116156]TheWraith[/MENTION]. Rig up an adapter, direct wire them, or go with another brand.
