Compressors?

I keep forgetting to air down offroad and subsequently bounce myself silly. It's time I found myself a decent compressor. What compressor have people been using to pump up those tires?
I'm not a hard core crawler so the compressor probably won't receive real hard use.

If you're airing down to 15 from 35 x 4 tires, you'll Need at the Very least this:

https://www.amazon.com/VIAIR-30033-...tive&sprefix=viair+300P,automotive,214&sr=1-2

Not even at this price point do you get 100% duty cycle (33% on 300 P) so you'll need to keep an eye so to speak on the temps. Mind has not overheated when airing up 4 tires (265/75/16) from 15-35 yet still takes some patience cooling off a bit between the 3-4th tire. Takes 4 mins per tire from 15-35.

This one is 100% duty cycle: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000X9EGFS/ref=emc_b_5_t

Luck and enjoy the runner. :cowboy:

I have the smittybuilt one, the one with more capacity. I think it was $165. Works amazing though. Inflates my tires super quick.

Last summer I blew up 14 inter-tubes for a river float without a break in between them and it was fine the entire time. Highly recommend

What's the deal with this?

It has worked well for me and it is cheap. It has been years so I do not remember details, but it had better characteristics than the competition in that price range when I bought it. Some are really weak units.

I bought a 35.00 unit at Walmart that lasted about a minute and a half; but my question was about P metric tires and not airing. I don't know what a P metric tire is or why you don't need to air down.

Smittybuilt 5.65cfm pump. I got mine on ebay for $114. It outperforms the $500-700 pumps. I fill my tires faster then the guys with the ARB's. and I have bigger tires.

For a sub $200 compressor its got to be one the better ones.
