Signing up was never a true commitment, it is only a pseudo commitment or no commitment. It is a indication of interest. It is significant percentage off. I don't do GB just to save you free shipping. Check my track record. The reason why I wait longer on some GB and not so long on others is to get the numbers to get to certain minimum discount that I am willing to go thru with the GB.

As I said, I'm not trying to be a jerk. I didn't want to put my name on the list only to back out later and cause problems for everyone else.

I have no idea who you are - I don't make a practice of following everyone around verifying whether or not their GBs work out or not. Sorry if I offended you by asking for more details.

Given their last "special" offering which was over Christmas they allowed you to upgrade from the 3 digit lock to the 4 digit for free which is a $35 value. I think they are standard free shipping anyway. Hopefully it's a substantial discount, I'm getting one regardless of discounts anyway, but a nice one would be pretty cool.
 
Does anyone have the install instructions or a link to them for this? I just realized I have a small inverter under the current console insert and I want to check the instructions to see if it explains the install and if it would work for me.

Not sure if it's the same as an 05...but 2 screws...you unscrew the two in the center console...then drop in the console vault...then screw in the 2 new screws provided by console vault...all done

So its an exact exterior dimension fit? Under the console insert theres space to put stuff (my inverter is in there) so if the safe is the same size then I am good to go still.

I just spoke with them and they told me the old insert is not removed and the vault gets inserted inside of it. So my concern of spacing is not an issue.

Also for those who were interested, the interior dimensions of the vault is 6.5" x 7" x 9.5".
 
Lets get this GB going!!! I've got a 357 sig I need to lock up in my truck. And before anybody starts the caliber debate I chose the 357 sig so I could penetrate glass and or metal without the bullet deflecting in case some slap nuts decided to do something stupid.
 
I was just checking on the status of this GB. I was thinking if it doesn't get done this week I'm getting it on my own, but it looks like we have enough!
