So as informed by Johnny Law on my way into work one morning, one of my H9s had burned out. I've been reading some good reviews of XenonDepot 's Extreme LED Pro kit for the the last few months and having run the stock H11s, halogen swap H9s, and previously run their Philips 4200k HID kit, I decided to take the plunge and see what the LEDs had to offer.
As informed by this thread

and:
2018 4Runner Pro LED Upgrade | 4runner LED headlight testing
and some additional reading via Google, I can say the following:
- My installation pics and results with regard to output echo theirs, so much so that it's not worth posting additional pictures.
- The LEDs, clocked appropriately (diodes at 3 and 9 o'clock), are essentially equally as bright as the H9 swap, but obviously a much whiter color temperature.
- The output downrange is very respectable and very well controlled. I have been driving with them now (mainly at night) for a few days and have yet to be flashed by oncoming drivers.
- The install IS slightly cumbersome with regard to spreading the aluminum heatsink leaves, but it can be done effectively. I do wish the included rubber grommets that seal the dust covers were as stout as the ones XenonDepot included with their HIDs. The ones included with this LED kit are a little flimsy in comparison.
Overall, I am satisfied with this swap for those curious.
