Thanks, I had a hand in designing the rear. Until it's announced formally I'd say since there's no hard information to share, just avoid conjecture while we get it finished up.

I had a lot of feedback after Baja that'll be making its way into the first production samples (aka the one we're gonna test on mine).

So I didn't want to start a new thread, could someone identify the build of the 5th gen with a custom tube rear bumper? It had the stock bumper still on but trimmed for the tube mounts. Thanks all

I haven't come across a list for REAR bumpers for our 5th gens..

I've come across these.. feel free to correct me if i've missed some.

Any update on the pelfy? I damaged my rear bumper again offroad and would prefer a full replacement so I wont have to cut the stock rear. I really want the SSO but it's been discontinued...

my front bumper , proline r1 guard, was advertised as 230lbs, until they updated it and changed it to the correct number.

I was in a group buy for their slimline front bumper and just asked if they had any rear bumpers and they made one for me call them and ask if they have one or can make one for you.

Pelfry rear is almost done. Last i heard they were having issues with the swingout clams. They didn't like the quality of the off the shelf ones so they were making their own. They're super late to the game and sounds like they've had some really good influences so I am excited to see/buy it

I should be heading down there in November to get the first one.

The latch was redesigned based on a few of my requests. Something that opens easy but will absolutely stay locked even under the worst circumstances off roading.

Hello,

a neighbor kid ran his bike into the back of my brand new 2017 4 runner. it looks worse in person than the photo lets on. I got a price from Toyota for a replacement and it's a bit pricey for a piece of plastic.

Wanted to if anyone had one from a bumper upgrade laying around that would be willing to sell. Toyota calls it the "Rear bumper center piece'.

Alternatively looking for the outlets to order the part from or repair it.
