very simple procedure

all you need is:

2009 Headlights
2009 Headlight Lower Trim
2009 Silver Grill
A Pair Of H11 Bulbs


also the secondary hood latch isnt quite long enough to fit the new grill so just go down to home depot and get a skinny rod and bent it into shape and move old hardware over to new grill.

and with the switch from 9005 to H11 bulbs the plug from the harness doesnt switch over so just cut off the old plug on the harness side and strip the wires and get a couple of connectors and plug into new headlight bulb and properly seal


the cost was $153 for the Grill From a Friend At Toyota
$37 for the lover garnish also from toyota

and $230 for the pair of headlights from amazon.com

i am in the process of gathering parts for my facelift. I found that they list different headlights weather it is a sport or not... i dont know what the difference would be. Any ideas? What did you use?

I believe it's to do with the colour of the headlight inner trim. The sport is darker than the Limited (or the other way around). I don't believe there is anything physically different that may hinder an install. Both my lights arrived in good condition. Some PlastX help revive them. One was sightly stained on the inside due to condensation, and I was unable to remove it without taking apart the housing. Be sure that all the mounting tabs are in tact.

What all did you have to do with the wiring harnesses? I was looking at doing this, but it seemed like a ton of work with getting all the wiring sorted out with turn signals, DRLs, marker/parking lights, etc.
