I've seen these on other vehicles and they mount in close to the glass for a much cleaner look. I like the idea but the execution leaves a lot to be desired. That may be the design of the T4R, not the seller.

Hey all, so orange box solutions got back to me last night. They said they would entertain a group buy but... We need to sell 20 units and price would be $120. And this won't change shipping cost.

That's only a 14% discount and a fairly large number of units in my opion for a very specialized tool that I'm not sure 20 of us will purchase. My personal 2cents is that a lengthy group buy process is not gonna be worth saving $18 to me at least when we could just purchase it for ourselves. And have it shipped way sooner then going through this.

That being said, I do like Apex but I don't know how they could sell it cheaper then the company who produces the hangars. I'm going to write back orange box solutions first and see if they can do a better discount. Sound like a plan?

Hey good news is they are good on communication. I counter negotied a slightly better deal. Hope we can agree on it and move towards the group guy. And yes I will start a new thread under the classified/group buy section. They agreed if we can get 20 people to sign up they will do 20% off on their primed panel product. So that will bring it down to $112. I know people are wanting better deals but 20% is fairly common for group buys so I'm happy with it. This still won't change shipping so this is gonna be a win for the east coast members this time around haha.

Apples and oranges....It puts 70lbs of gear up in an easily accessible place and keeps it dry. The Gobi doesn't do that.
