Coolant Consumption From Were???

Here is a brain twister. I am seeing coolant consumption from my 03 4.0L 4x4 T4R
There are no visible leaks from the main culprits Upper and lower radiator hoses are both in good working order and all hoses that are coming out of the radiator including heater core hoses are also in good working order. So I know that points to a head gasket issue but I am not seeing any white vapor out of the tail pipe. I have replaced the radiator cap and still a slight consumption around 8 to 10oz a week. The water pump also seems dry. And the last thing I have no visible coolant coming from the heat core it's self. Wow that is mouth full, any help will be great not sure were to turn.

Thanks,

So you keep having to add coolant? When the engine goes from cold to hot the coolant level in the bottle will fluctuate.
You can rent a headgasket testing kit at most auto parts stores. Basically you fill this tube with a special liquid that's tests for hydrocarbons in the antifreeze. You remove the radiator cap then when the engine is warm you place it over the radiator and look for color change in the tube. It's a very easy test to do and if your adding coolant on a consistent basis I would do this test.
Btw when you have a blown headgasket the coolant on my goes two places. In the oil or in the combustion chamber. So if they are bad and it's not puffing white smoke then check your engine oil.

If you suspect you're burning coolant as opposed to leaking it, do a block test. If it comes back positive, you have exhaust in your coolant and know what to do next.

I had the same issue. Tried the block tester first and luckily it wasn't a headgasket. Then rented a radiator tester and pressurized the radiator and as soon as it was above 10 psi the radiator spewed coolant all over the ground.
