So i've got everything to do a coolant flush and refill but I go to loosen the petcock or drain plug whatever you call it and it seems to be stripped or corroded. THis is the V8 05 Limited and im open to suggestions. Help

With the amount of corrosion I see you may not get that petcock to open without breaking the plastic side tank on the radiator, I would try and disconnect the lower radiator hose, but again be careful doing so because the hose flange is plastic.
I'm curious, why do you have a socket on the drain tube of the petcock where the coolant would come out of if you get it to open?

Get a replacement, notch the stuck one with an angle grinder or dremel and use a large flathead to get it off. Unless you can get some needle nose pliers on the nub to twist it enough to loosen it. Replace with new one after flush.

I might be wrong but I do believe the petcock is a part of the plastic side tank and not removable/replaceable.
Haha I had a hose about the perfect size of a 3/8 socket and then it fit perfect on there to run down into the bin so I would have so no spill
THis seems to be a replacement from walmart. I assume they wouldn't make it if not possible no?

Yes that looks like it would indeed replace the inner core of the petcock, just be careful not the damage the body of the petcock which is apart of the side tank getting the old core out.

looks like theres enough meat left to grab it with pliers, if that doesnt work try to notch it as mentioned above & use a screwdriver.
& that is a LOT of rust & corrosion, i would be keeping an eye on those trans cooler lines for leaks, or replace them asap before they leak.

I was going to mention the same.....one of those lines looks to have a small leak already, it would be wise to replace them now before they start pouring out transmission fluid and damages the transmission!
Where do you recommend getting them from? cant really find anything on rock auto currently.
Unfortunately you going to have to get them from a dealer..OEM...or find some in good condition at a local savage yard.
That being said some people have just replaced the hard steel lines with rubber hydraulic hoses and use zip ties to secure them, I would also use some scrap rubber pieces wrapped around the hoses in some locations where abrasion might be an issue on the hoses.

curious why you suggest not messing with it? its clearly leaking or seeping fluid on one of the lines or the hose connection area. & regardless of if its leaking, with that much rust & corrosion youre just asking for trouble or to get stranded on the side of the road... when you see something like that its always a good idea to do preventative maint to avoid a hassle or damage to the trans.
a working rad hose with no signs of deterioration or cracking would be the least of my worries compared to those trans lines!
