Coolant hose Identification help request - 2002 SR5 4WD

Hi,

Spent hours trying to track down the part numbers for the hoses for my 2002 SR5. I've listed below. Surprisingly difficult to find, been on toyota parts sites, partsouq, general Internet searches, you name it.

My guess is that 2001/2002 T4Rs are slightly less common and so less documented? Not sure. Anyway, if anyone can steer me to PNs for any of these hoses, please let me know! I'd sincerely appreciate it. Remember this is for a 2002, so slightly different (of course).

Hose 1: Larger (5/8"?) hose on one side right underneath the heater valve.
Hose 2: Smaller (3/8"?) hose right under the throttle cable. It snakes underneath to the back of the engine.
Hose 3: Larger, insulated hose (may just be air) on top of engine
Hose 4: Smaller (3/8"?) hose on the other side of throttle body, connected next to what I believe is the cruise control actuator. Doesn't have a clamp, this may not be coolant.
Hose 5: Smaller (3/8"?) hose in middle of engine, in the back under the heater control valve.
Hoses 6 &7: Transmission cooler hoses

Transmission cooler hoses, these should be pretty much universal, not sure why its so hard to find part numbers!

Check out that post by Spiker Engineering who just replaced most of the hoses you are looking for. There's some parts websites that are better than others, and even then some of these more specific less common parts do require some digging to find.

The 01-02 shouldn't make much of a difference for the hoses. Only one that may be different would be the throttle body ones since the throttle body is different on the 01-02.

Thanks for the mention Unner. I really do need to write up that whole project. I'm doing the same for air/vacuum hoses right now, so I'll post it all once it's done.

To jsnppp -

Hose 1 - 87245-35700;
Hose 2 - having trouble following where it fits in, might be 16261-62060;
Hose 3/4 - air/vacuum hoses, not sure of PN
Hose 5 - can't tell from the photo, maybe a vacuum hose
Hose 6 - 32941-35260
Hose 7 - 32942-35110

Must be a bad habit of mine yet I like to just call my local yota parts dept, thow them a VIN and I've got parts....

My local toyota parts department is incompetent. I've got a 50/50 chance of getting the right part if I let them look it up for me. I prefer to go in with part numbers.

Same here. My local dealer is incompetent, rude "know it all" (even when they order the wrong parts), takes forever to get the parts, and is about 20% above MSRP.

1.) Looks like it could be either 87245-35730 or 87245-35730?
2.) I'm going to say it's 16261-62060 as that passes under the throttle body
3.) I want to say it's 12262-62060, hard to tell... but it does seem to be the hose from the air intake to the manifold for PCV ventilation.
4.) The closest I found was 90445-12284 but I'm not sure, the diagram isn't matching up to your picture very well.
5.) Maybe this one 90999-92002, the angle you took the picture makes it hard to tell what you're pointing out, but this is the only smaller vacuum line I saw along the back of the manifold that high up.
6.) 32941-35260 and (x2) 90467-16013 for the clamps
7.) 32942-35110 and (x2) 90647-16013 for the clamps

That's the best I could do based off your pictures and descriptions.

You can try figuring it out yourself if you want, I like to use Please Wait... | Cloudflare for when I am not at work or too busy to bug my parts guys. They seem to have the closest parts diagrams/fiche to what we use at work including the highlighting function and VIN filtering, etc.

Thanks everyone, super helpful, I truly appreciate that you all took the time to look and record your thoughts.

I missed Spiker Engineering's post (https://www.toyota-4runner.org/3729452-post33709.html) somehow. Excellent list!

I also forgot to acknowledge @2TH41ST's post #12 (What other hoses should I replace?). I actually used this list in my original order, cross referencing with a 2002 parts catalog. I didn't know what I didn't have at that point.

So.

One thing I learned was that hose #5 isn't coolant at all, it's fuel. I decided yesterday to remove it to see it better. Guess that explains why I couldn't find it in the coolant sections. I replaced it with new fuel hose.

I'm going to run with this list and start cross checking with the other list.

1.) Either 87245-35730 or 87245-35730
2.) 16261-62060
3.) 12262-62060
4.) 90445-12284
5.) Doh! not coolant! but I'll check out 90999-92002
6.) 32941-35260 and (x2) 90467-16013 for the clamps
7.) 32942-35110 and (x2) 90647-16013 for the clamps

More when I get it!

~Jason
