Hi,
I'm curious to know how many miles people had on their 4runners before they replaced the heater and coolant by-pass hoses. I have 150K on mine and wondering if I should think about replacing these hoses before one starts to leak. My hoses appear to be fine on the outside. I replaced the radiator hoses at 80k, but that was it.
Also, how much of a PITA is it to replace the heater hoses. From the looks of it, they don't look to be too much fun.
FYI: I have a 2000 SR5, 4WD, 5 speed with a v-6. Appreciate any advice.
