coolant leak issue

Hello forum members, I am in need of some help.

I took off my radiator cap and the fluid is full.

My reservoir keeps going down to the last inch of the tank.

Every time I check for leak I find dried coolant at the top of my reservoir tank. should I replace the top cap of the tank and maybe the radiator cap??

I recently replaced my water pump seal a few months back because of a leak there.

Thank you for your time.

Generally that's a telltale sign that the radiator cap is bad. Replace that first and top her off should be all good

thanks for replying, will get one today and give it a shot.

Did you figure this out? I had to replace my radiator a few months back. I was having the same symptoms as you are reporting. Pop off the radiator cover and inspect the radiator from the top and bottom. I had a lot of pink crust at the top when I inspected. I found a cheap one on amazon that is working well so far.

I replaced the cap and not fixed. Will try what you mentioned. Thanks for replying!
