Coolant leaking from rear!

Ok, last week I noticed my coolant reservoir was empty. I filled it up to the line with a mixed bottle of coolant. This week, I can smell coolant outside my car when warm it up or after a drive. I check the reservoir and it’s down like a quarter. I look under my truck and I see this. Small drops but it’s coolant. I haven’t really had time to break it down to see what’s leaking but any thoughts? No smell in the cabin and I have a 07 v6 sport with 220k miles! Im thinking line to the valve or valve to heather core. Im hoping to take a peak this weekend.

Check the radiator hoses first. They're easy to check without disassembling anything. I had a leak up front and the engine fan would blow coolant backwards causing the puddle to form under/behind the engine rather than under the hoses. Don't count on the puddle being below the leak because once you shut down the engine the coolant cools, contracts, and stops leaking (if the leak is small enough or high enough).

I would bet it is a heater line, but the radiator lines are easy to rule out quickly.

My wifes Sequoia was leaking in the exact same spot. Turns out there is a coolant hose under the intake manifold that tends to go bad on the 4.7L. The intake manifold has to be removed to get to it. I didn't want to do it in the driveway in the winter so I took it to a local mechanic and it was about $350 parts and labor.

Thanks for the info guys! As I warmed up my hat today after I refilled my reservoir, I can smell the coolant after about 10 minutes. I reached in the back to feel nothing but a dry area. I looked at the front and noticed that there was a little coolant coming from where the top radiator line to the inlet by the thermostat. Looks like it was the wind or fan blowing the coolant to the back. So I’m buying a replacement today and will see if that is the only leak. Thanks!

These v6 also have an issue with the water pump leaking.
Drips down the front of the motor onto the cross member and blows back along the skid plates.

Do they have a wheeling hole that drips when they’re going bad? That might be the next thing to check if this isn’t the fix.
