Coolant life?

Anyone by chance know the recommended change on coolant and/or cooling system flush?

I just happen to have the scheduled maintenance guide for my '03 Runner in front of me. first mention of replacing engine coolant for suvs and trucks is at 30,000 miles. I'm 99.9% sure that's way low. you should easily be able to go 50,000 between changes.

it pops up again at 60K, 90K etc. so, Toyota recommends every 30k.

Just FYI for anyone who is interested... This is a good alternative to Toyo SLLC. Valvoline.com > Products > Zerex > Antifreeze Zerex > Zerex® Asian Vehicle Antifreeze / Coolant
