Coolant???

Stop leak is going to rust everything out. Unless your talking about the stop leak you add to the motor oil?

HUH????

who in the hell told you that ?

the Bars stop lead/ head gasket permanent fix is just a coolant additive that has copper/copper fibers to seal small leaks....

Ive personally spoke to the technicians at BARS corporation..and they told me that their product cannot cause clogs in the heating systems or water pumps, etc..because their product can only seal leaks/gaps up to a certain thousands of a inch...

in other words, small leaks in a head gasket can be filled with the copper additive in their product, and then the heat of the motor soildifies that copper liquid , into a solid, sealing the leak......the additive cannot cause clogs in raidatior hoses , heating systems, etc ..because the opening/gaps are to large for the copper solution to be captured and solidified in place.

I wasn't talking about the lead head gasket permanent fix one.

Oh, okay ...well the Bars is a copper solution...not lead....

the copper fibers get caught in small opening in the head gasket area, then the heat of the motor soldifies those copper fibers in place...sealing the leak , often for 10,s of thousands of miles.

The stuff i used was Irontite, the guy at rebies said it was the best stuff out their. And before i used it i flushed my system with Irontite thoroflush....the irontite will condition the seals for my water pump...After all of this i fired it up drove it with the heater on high, when i got back their was a small drip...Sooooooo i popped the hood and saw a hose that looked like it was cracked near the intake, i got a pic and was wanderinrg if you guys can tell me what it is.....hopefully thats my leak!!

So when i did change the hose it did fix my problem. When it leaked from the hose it was leaking down between the intake and valve cover, and when it got a big pool it was dripping down the side of my engine....thats why i thought it was my head gasket...

Coolant drain plug

I want to drain the old coolant in my 2007 4Runner. Can someone tell me where the drain plug is located? Thanks.
