cooling system flush

Last time I had the cooling system flushed, I had the stealer do it. This time, I would like to do it myself. Anyone have a how to for the 4runner? I've done it on other vehicles but always did it with one of those prestone kits where you install a hose fitting in the heater line. My old 300zx was cool that it had one built in from the factory and I just had to make an adapter that fit on to it.
I have a leak in my radiator now, so I'm looking to flush it before installing the new radiator.

Easy. Open the drain on the radiator. Pull the thermostat, reinstall the hosing and hose and then go to town with the hose. I'd also pull the hoses off both the front and rear heater cores and flush them seperately.

Yep and you could also throw in a cooling system cleaner if its nasty

There is also a block drain, but it's a b!tch to find, just forward of the spring in passenger wheel well. You put a small hose in the nipple and turn the brass hex head to open.

This is pretty much what I did except for one think. I used an adaptor that let me connect the compressed air and the water hose so it'll flush it out with some pressure. I forgot the name of the tool tho.
