Cooper discoverer ATP tires

Im going to get new tires this week in probably 265/70/17 on my 04 4runner. I am kind of on the fence with what i want to do. I have the money together to get some of the more expensive tires like the BFGs of the ST Maxxs but now that im about to pull the trigger i keep thinking of going with tires that are still good but not quite as expensive and then having some cash left over.

Im thinking about he cooper discoverer ATP tires. I actually have a set on my 00 F250 but i havent really taken that truck offroad much since its mainly what we use to pull trailers and stuff plus its such a different size vehicle. Has anyone used the ATP tires in any harder offroad use? or should i just spend the money and get a more expensive tire?

Last Friday I pulled the trigger on a set of the Cooper ATP's in that size. I have not had them off road yet but my first impressions are very positive. Plus they look great. This does not really answer your question just my .02.
