Corner Blinker mod (has anyone tried this one)

As the title says, Has anybody tried this corner blinker mod?

It says that it will only work with the parking lights on but does that mean the blinkers only work with the parking lights on? If anyone has tried this please clarify this for me! Thank you

I took a K.I.S.S. approach and routed my stock blinker bulbs and wires up to the corner driving lights, dremeled a hole out under the driving bulb receptacle, popped in the turn signal bulb in and sealed it off. I don't have clear corners so the blinkers still show up as orange because of the orange glass inserts.
I'm sure there are orange or yellow bulbs you can buy somewhere that are the same size of the blinker bulbs to fit into the receptacle since you have clear corners.

So you did the blinker "relocate" mod. I'm assuming you installed an aftermarket bumper? I still have the stock fat lip so I need to add a bulb in the corner lighting and wire it in with the bumper blinker with a relay to have it alternate. You think that would work? I'm not sure if there will be enough current to power it.

I kept even more KISS than that. I just cut my turn signal and side marker wires and connected my turn signal wires to the side markers. I had to buy new bulbs but the entire mod took 15 minutes and about $8.00 for bulbs. Working great for years now.

Holy thread revival! Don't think your getting any response from these guys.

I did this same thing, I replaced mine with an amber LED bulb https://www.superbrightleds.com/mor...d-tower-miniature-wedge-retrofit-car/206/923/ Although I do think these are slightly different mine are over a year old and this tech changes so fast, but mine are rated at something like 120 lumens.
I do have hyper flash due to the LED not having enough resistance and causing the computer to think the bulb is out. Doesn't bother me but you can switch the flasher relay or use a resistor to fix the hyper flash. I do really like this mod the turn signals are crazy bright and an improvement over my turn led signals in the bumper light diffusion wise.
