Cornfed 2wd??

i have a titanium 06 4runner that is 2wd should i put a cornfed 3/2 on it or do you guys think it would be pointless. i dont do that much offroading im jw?

There's a few guys that have lifted 2wd. Some of the SoCal folks get some good off-roading in and 4Runner8 just lifted his '03. He, thetaxguy and others have done some pretty cool stuff.

You don't have too. Actually, I get quite a few calls from guys that want to do the 3/2 or leveling kits, where the truck is their wife's, and they just want to give it a beefier look. The 3/2 will do just that, and really transforms the look of the truck.

not pointless at all. I have an 06 2WD too, but I just put those cornfed spacers in. I wouldn't change it for anything but a real lift. Totally worth the money. The only thing is you are probably going to find yourself wanting to scrap whatever tires you have on there and go for bigger ones, which starts making the total cost of the thing a bit more than you might have expected. That's where I'm at right now. Lift with stock rubber. Need spidertrax and tires now Anyway, it's totally not pointless and if I had to do it again I totally would. My only suggestion is if you are a 130lb guy with no power tools, get a buddy who's got a little more strength behind him to help you out installing it haha

I say do it, I did it on my last 4runner, which was an 04 2wd 4r.... the only thing I warn you on is your next upgrade after that might be upgrading the vehicle to 4x4 4r, haha! That's what I ended up doing. Now THAT was an expensive mod!

Go for it. You only live once. My 2wd is lifted and we just use it to get down dirt roads to hiking trail heads. The extra clearance really helps.

this is what i'm looking to do. I do enough offroading for my job (border patrol). I'm really only interested in trail blazing with my 4runner, which 2wd should be able to handle fine. I'm thinking I should upgrade suspension/tires at the very least.

You'd be suprised where 2wd can get you (we run tahoes and F-250s for the most part). For the most part I run my patrol vehicle in 2wd. I only go 4wd when I hit deep sand really.
