Cornfed Installed! Pics with 285's

I know I know, this is worthless without pics but......I dont have the new tires on yet (bfg 285 75 17 ko's). Just a note to anybody considering this lift, I got it from Burtman. He was great to work with. It only took me about 4 hours to install and I could have done it faster if I could have figured out how to get the front to droop more. The instructions dont tell you to do it but, as soon as i took out the bolts that hold the anit-lock wires to the suspension, I finally decided to disconect the upper control arm and that made all of the difference in the world. I spent an hour on the passenger side and 20 minutes on the driver's side. The xreas did not give me an difficulties. The rear was a snap. Luckily the maiden voyage didnt set off any warning lights and it drove great! The rear is a little more stiff but I guess that I expected that. I cant believe the difference that it made. I cant wait for the tires, when I get them on, I;ll get somebody to help host the pics. I am geting new wheels at the same time so it should be like a total makeover.

you know your gonna rub with the 285/75/17. I predict cutting in your future with a body lift maybe. That is a 33.6in tire and I test fited that tire and it wasn't looking good. I have a 285/70/17 and rub still with more lift and body lift.

i hear ya

i understand what you are saying about the 285's but you have mtr's which are inherently larger in diam than the bfg k/o's. there is about 1/2-3/4 inch difference. I hope its enough. Burtman said that they havent had any probs with a little minor trimming in the fenderwell pastic area

I'm just trying to warn yah. you never know till you try. I really wanted 285's so I just bought them. NO1 is gonna stop you.

Got pics now, can somebody host?

Got the 285's on. They look great and just took a little trimming of the inner front wells and about 1/2 of the mud flaps (that way they still protect the side some) If somebody can host em i can post em! Thanks
Tony

I think that there wouldnt need to be any trimming if i had a body lift. I may add one in the future. the rims are Foose wheels. they are a 17 x 8 and I am not sure what the backspacing is.
