Cornfed Lift Kit

I'm not sure if you guys have Autozone in CO but they let you rent 'specialty' tools for free... I did a suspension lift on my Wrangler and rented a coil compressor from them. Been thinking about the Cornfed system for my 2006 T4R... Would love it if you could take some pics as you do the install.

Yep, autozone will let you rent the spring compressors for free. If I remember, you give them $20 deposit, then you get thatn $20 back when you return them.

Did you do that lift? If so, did you keep the same tires? It's hard to tell the height difference with the lighting - I gauged it by lookin at that card board box in the back of the pic.

Looks good though - I still want a lift.

I can't find my instructions, but mostly the process is the same as for Daystar. I can send you some pictures of installation if you want.

No, that is Andries (Bulldog) truck. He has Revo's on his truck.

You are correct that the pictures don't show the height change, but it is significantly better than stock.

I would think that in some cases you need the lift on before you can fit the tires in w/o rubbing.

I am putting on the lift this weekend and then will get the tires in the next 2 weeks or so.

I've had a lift with stock tires for almost a year.

More ground clearance is good.

Try looking at this thread. There are pics of a cornfed lifted truck with stock dunlops.

Hey Guys,

My lift kit just shipped the other day and should be arriving sometime next week. WOO HOO!!!

I have to say that Jason over at Burtman Industries is an extremely helpful person and I highly recommend that people purchace from him.

Anyways I'll be sure to post some pics one the kit arrives and is installed.

How is the lift holding up? How is the ride quality after a couple of years of use (daily commute on city and highway, that is). I'm thinking of getting the 2/1 but do not want any long term ride quality sacrifice...just simply a more even line from front bumper to rear. Thanks
