Correcting a HORRID experience.

Long story short, after buying my 4Runner from a dealership here in OKC I've had a horrible experience. Phone calls going unreturned, they had the incorrect mailing address after being told multiple times the correct one, and I haven't gotten things promised.

Anyways, their Customer Service General Manager has called me and we will be talking tomorrow as he wants to do what he can to make it right. Basically my question is, what should I ask him for. For example, if he says what can we do to make it right, what should I ask for. Just looking for your thoughts.

Kinda hard to say without knowing the details on what is wrong, what promises were left empty, ect.

WHATEVER you do, get it in writing. In WA state there is a form called "we-owe" where dealerships note what they are expected to finish before the deal is completed. Look for something similar, verbal promises are just going to continue your experience pissing in the wind.

It depends on how badly it affected your life I guess. Maybe a free oil change or two? Is there an accessory you are really thinking about adding like remote start or heated seats? See if you could get a discounted price worked out.

Free oil change (or two, or more) sounds like the perfect kind of thing because

- you are going to need it one way or another (unlike, say, a free car wash or a 10% off parts coupon)
- they can provide it at very little cost to them
- synthetic oil changes run ~$100 each, so this could actually save you some cash.

I'd go for a few oil changes after your Toyota Care runs out. Synthetic Oil ain't cheap!
