I have attempted to change the behavior of the automatic door locks according to the instructions in the manual for my 2003 Limited. The doors lock when you take it out of park, but I want them to unlock when the driver's door is opened (from the inside). The manual gives instructions for this, and I followed them carefully, but it doesn't work.
PS. Steve_MS, you are not alone. It is easy to come up with simplistic solutions that treat the symptoms of our society's problems, but much more difficult to diagnose and treat the underlying causes.
