Coverlay Dash Cap vs. Buying a Used One?

Searched....didn't find anything.

I have a cracked dash on the passenger side. I'd like to replace it...not cover it with a dash cover.

I found Coverlay brand dash caps for ~$150. Junk yard dashes run from $75 to $200 from what little I've searched online, but I have no idea what kind of shape they're really in until they arrive unless I find one locally.

Looking at online Toyota OEM parts dealers, I don't see any options for ordering the dash itself.

Has anyone replaced their dash or covered it with a cap that uses adhesive to go over the existing dash and were you happy with the result?

I bought a spare dash from a part out. The guy sold everything, Including the frame. His kid rolled it in a field.

I always wondered if anyone here ended up with the frame. The guy lives in Blue Ball, PA.

I have a tan dash from a 1999 4runner limited that I took apart after the engine died. PM me and I can send pics. I'm in Albuquerque.

I also have the frame from the 4runner. It is a V6 4x4. I'd like to sell it rather than scrapping it.
