Cragar 69 series deluxe wheels... Awesome or stupid?

I found the cragar wheels

and thought they looked pretty cool, but can't find any images of them with an off road tire. Can't decide if they would look awesome or stupid. Has anybody run these or have image of them with an off road tire?

Yeah, not much else to say besides that. Can't imagine they're built for strength in off-road conditions as well.

Those might look really nice with whitewall tires on a classic car, but I imagine you'll be unhappy with them on your 4R

I don't see why they wouldn't work. Toyota used to put basic steel wheels on a lot of trucks.

Yeah I really like the basic steel wheels. I was looking at the pro comp 97 series style when I found these.

You might search on the FJ Cruiser forum and look for a set of steelies on there. It's been a few years, but I bought a set off there for $200.

I did a little bit of photoshop magic.... I think they look pretty good.

They would look good on a restored FJ40.

I would have never imagined, but I really like that! It’s a lot better than the FJ Steelie look. I think it’d work on a 5th gen too.

Would really be a ***** trying to wash dried mud out of the inside of the wheel. That's why even early steel wheels had vents.
