Crank no start

That's definitely a good tip! I'll try those things this weekend. It sucks. I just really hope it isn't the ICM that cost a lot of money. I'm probably go back to the junk yard before I start working on it. And get a couple ICM and so other interior things. But I will definitely kept you posted.
 
Hey! So I'm going to the junk yard to pick up a couple of ICM on Saturday morning. Anything else come to mind with my issues? Maybe a MAF? Just don't wanna go again for this problem Pick up anything that could be related to this problem

It only relies on the MAF once its running. Otherwise it runs off a relay i believe. Get electrical contact cleaner and go through the ignition system and clean connections too. Hell if its cheap enough get an ECU if yourr willing to throw money at it. Lol
 
So still no start !!!! I'm so done with this. My rotor is spinning so I think my timing belt is fine. My Mass air flow sensor flap moves freely. I changed the starter relay. The EFI relay and the two under the glove box. And changed out the ICM

I don't know. I really don't. Maybe just a shit battery?

I was thinking about. That might be my last thing I buy for this thing. I'm so done man
 
I took my throttle body off to make sure I didn't knock anything loose. Because it was tough to put back on a couple weekends ago. But only thing I see was my intake soaked in fuel. So I know my cold start is working
 
Thanks dude! Now I'm guessing the cold start has gone bad. Because it is shooting to much fuel inside the intake, not allowing it to start. So if that is the case, I'll be buying a new one!
 
The cold start injector is crazy expensive. When the truck is cold the CSI will give the blast for initial start. Do you think its leaking? You may want to test before replacing...

I second KC definitely test first. You can test with a mechanics stethescope to listen if its clicking consistently to let in bursts of fuel. Do you think its a possibility you were just trying to cold start it TOO much and flooding it? Because the one weekend you went to your pops place and it started right up you said. Maybe it needed time to dry out after all the cold cranking.. If not I'd do more research on what part of your ECU communicates with your CSI. Possibly look up an ECU pinout for your exact model and follow the wiring ALL THE WAY THROUGH before replacing. This is my first Yota and I'm no expert but it makes sense to me. Lol.
 
Well a little awhile ago, more like a couple of years I pick up a couple of them. So I'm gunna test every single one of them. And if they all check out good. I'm going to check all the wiring to the ECU and back. I'm thinking it is bad. Not bad from not shooting fuel. But bad from shooting to much, but yea those things are a lot of money! I'll definitely kept posting on this thread. To maybe help someone else out down the road. I'm just happy to get this started.

After I firgure that cold start out. I need to build my exhaust and replace my rear 3rd member gasket before desert season rolls around.
 
So I went down to my pops house this morning to work on the truck, and I notice this ground was off and the bolt was snapped off? So I reconnected it to the top of the motor, left the broken bolt in. And now I'm getting code 41. It is for the TPS, so I gotta re adjust that. And it should be running like a champ now

If you all where woundering what my shitty exhaust looks like. It was a little rusted so I had to kept adding peace by peace. Will be getting another whole exhaust built from the Y-Pipe to the tail pipe.

But if you all where woundering the CSI was the problem will no start. I tested it with the volt meter and unplugged it and it was shooting was to much fuel. So looks like that is getting replaced

Since i recently bought my t4r ive been disocovering TONS of problems like loose wiring and missing bolts. Everytime i fix something or replace it ill notice some previous owner issues and it blows lol.

I swear that wasn't like that, last weekend But it seem to affect the way the motor cranked or worked in general.
