Crank pulley tool?

Guys, $60+ for a harmonic balancer tool seems excessive. ESPECIALLY when it's a 1 use tool. Harbor Freight used to sell this style chain wrench:
Crescent 12 in. Chain Wrench-CW12H - The Home Depot

I purchased 2, pulled the chain off 1 & combined it w/ the other chain so that it would be long enough to wrap around a 3RZ or 5VZ harmonic balancer. The handle is slim & long enough to be able to get in some spaces & brace up against the frame while you hit it the crank bolt w/ a torque wrench breaker bar(during break down). Plus, I can use it for other projects as well. I didn't pay $22 a piece for them, I think I paid $15 a piece.

To me there is too much of a chance to hurt things using a chain wrench. Especially if you have to buy one. I paid less than 20 dollars to make this tool. 17 of that was the 3' long piece of flat stock.

It's probably 4 or 5 years old now still no rust.
