Well, since no one can really have just one, I thought I'd add to the collection and get a book end. After realizing that people have lost their mind on barely running 1st gens, I decided wth and just went all the way and found one that was given up for dead. $500 and a uhaul rental, I got project numero dos. A little bummed as the guy said it was an '84 but turned out to be an '88. But for the price, I still couldn't complain much.
Apparently she threw a rod through the block and has sat out her for about 8 months. Got most of the trash out of her, put her on a jump and damn thing actually still ran on three cylinders and a plum size hole in the case. She's going to be a slow restore but hoping for good things.
