Yep, and picked up 2 more 1st gens for parts. New shop rebuilding my parts supply. Just let me know what you need.
So slowly continuing the build. Hopefully making progress so I can start some Spring runs.
This weekend I built a rear shock bar out of some poop pipe, angle iron, random scraps, and some RuffStuff shock tabs. My grinder gave up the magic smoke this weekend so couldn't clean the frame to weld it up. Next weekend should be able to get it in, burn the axle mounts on and take measurements for some new shocks.
Also spent time prepping a new hood. Previous owner covered it in some heavy duty crap, semi bedliner type stuff so spent a few hours grinding that crap off. Ugh. Should be ready for some new rattle can paint this week.

Had to measure the flex in the rear for shocks for the new mounts. This is the closes I've been to offroading in almost 8 months!
Check out that IFS flex......I can't wait to start the SAS!

Added a winch to the front. Almost felt like crying cutting up the grill. Remote mounting the solenoid was a PITA and its not like the truck is dentless, but it was a sad moment.
Finally got my rear set up. Got the shock bar situated then started messing with leaves. Ugh, tried 3 setups trying to get the height down since the front is still IFS. Shorter hangers and flatter leaves just caused the hangers to collapse with any weight. Guess I'll live with it until the front gets SAS'd.
Its trail worthy now, although I still have a handfull of things to finish up. But pretty happy to be this far.
