Nope, haven't had a chance to take it to HF yet. Something always seems to come up on the weekends they have group outings, but would be down for some runs sometime.
Well, its been a while since I've updated this. As some of you guys know, this spring had a setback when my daughter rolled it at the TX Jamboree.
So since she's still running, I figured I couldn't give up on her so I found a parts donor and ordered a few goodies. Since I wouldn't trust myself with welding safely both a and b pillars, I ordered a 4x roll cage.
A little intimating but its definitely should improve my welding when I'm done.

So cage is now in as well as some tube doors and some 4 pt harnesses. Going take safety more seriously now.
Was hoping to go ahead and do a SAS this winter, but everything else is taking a lot longer than i thought, so the plan is to do some minor stuff and then wheel the heck out of it next spring and then SAS during the hot months. I just really want to get back out there.

The plan right now is to replace the rear stock springs with some AllPro's, mount shocks close to vertical, flat belly the tcase and gas tank. Got some 35"s to replace the AT 33"s. Just have to decide now if I want to put a locker in the front diff or just wait until I do the SAS.

Yeah, there's no way I would of wanted to try and weld that thing together with the roof on. Of coarse, I don't have a new roof on yet anyways so we'll see what is easier.
Now the problem is trying not to keep up with the Jones and go big with a TG or RuffStuff front housing! :thumb3:

Alright, another weekend down, a little more done. I had to drop the gas tank to weld the backside of the spring hanger. While I had it down, I went ahead and trimmed up the horse collar and the gas tank mounts getting ready for the flat bottom. Haven't quite got the tank back in but its close. Looks like I need to massage some things with the BFH to get the clearance I need. Also got the GM alternator in.

Fought yesterday and today and finally got the gas tank back in for a little tuck. Was alot more work than I expected. Didn't completely get it tucked in there. You would have to have atleast have a 3" body lift to do it. I have a 1.5" lift to do the drivetrain lift but on the gas tank, even with a BFH I barely got 2" in there and its tight. If I had gone with 63" chevys, I think this would of been enough but with 58" ones, I probably should of gone with the 2" BL. Now gotta think if I want to make my own skid or just put back on a modified stock one.

This is an awesome build thread. Glad to see you didn't give up on the 4runner after the roll over. Keep it up!
