Nice choice on the Icons. I love my Donahoes and will Resi them once I send them for a rebuild (probably next summer). What UCA's are you going with? Also do you have a welder? I may use your skills if you ever have time.

Ya the Icons should do very well. When the trailer sells in January, I will be purchasing the ICON's. I will be running some Camburg upper arms as I have had good luck with the on my 06 and they are way cheaper than the TC or Icon tubular arms.
No welder but hoping to get a miller 175 soon. Right now my welding is all done with the use of Any7's. I just pay them for supplies used.

Nice, I'm thinking of saving up some money and just getting the Light Racing as they are 1/2 the price. I'm just sick of my alignment specs not being right.
That's sweet you can just use their shop. I really want a welder, but can't justify the cost, plus all the other random tools I'd need. Sucks, but maybe this summer.
We need to do another wheeling trip soon so I can check out your roof rack and stretch the 4runners legs with my Donahoes. Also what kind of compressor do you have?

i have a 30 gal Craftsman.
I need to get a house so I can drop a dedicated 240 outlet in the garage for a welder.
With all the small little things I need to do and make, it would pay for itself quick.
Have an impact, grinder, sawsall, DA, drills, full tool set. Makes it nice when you have things that need to get done at the house.
Welder would help further complete my work space. that and a tube bender, bandsaw, and drill press. Dad had the last two but when he moved I didn't have the space for them so he sold them... biggest bummer ever.
Im working on getting a wheelin trip going either next sunday or New years eve if your interested. Just Hollister but I think Drew is down to run. I wouldn't mind trying out the locker if I get it working in time. Plus I wanna try to put a hurtin on the new gas tank skid that im doing R&D on for Any7. If your interested they will be starting to make full skids very soon at competitive prices. Wouldn't even have to pay for shipping since they are local.

Just read the whole build, nice work. Got a lot done in short time! I'm sure I'll wheel with ya sooner or later, I need to get back down to hollister and wheel with all you bay area guys again.

I wouldn't mind heading up your way again and wheelin with you. Want to head up to slick rock again and run Deer Valley. Maybe in the spring when the trails open we can set something up.
Took my old pickup out to slick rock when I was still getting used to it and pussed out on the gate keeper. Wouldn't mind trying it this time and running the whole trail.
There is also Frank Reigns and Carnegie that are about middle of the road for both of us.
I'm down to set something up though for sure.

Nice! Yeah I'm starting my tool collection now, so I have the bar bones. I was about to drop the money on a welder for Christmas, but realized I still needed grinders, sawsall, drills, ect. Eventually I will, but I might try to pick up a compressor soon to help with rotations and the such.
I'm down for next Sunday most likely. I don't have anything planned so far. I actually just picked up a budbuilt front skid from a member here for $120, but I have to get it here from SoCal. I should have someone picking it up the beginning of January if things work out. I will be looking into bell pans and gas skids though. I look forward to hearing how their prices are.
Well Matt, you always have a bed to crash in at my place.

Thanks! Yeah sounds good, actually I've never been to Frank Raines before so that would be sweet. Will definitely be wheeling all those northern trails again as soon as they open back up, can't get enough of them. Let me know if you plan something!

Sounds good. April is when Slick Rock opens up again correct? How are the snow levels at Deer Valley? that is lower than Angels camp right?

That is a high possibility haha. I always seem to bring something new out there so it may be hard to get used to what im driving haha. hell 3 different yotas in 3 years.

Haven't been up around deer valley in about a month...but we have been getting pounded with snow lately, we got 9 inches of snow just last night at my work in Pinecrest. So I'm sure they are covered good.
I think places like Deer Valley just go by trail conditions for when they open. Might be opening later this year than last year, so people don't tear up the trail in all the mud. Hopefully not too much later than April though!

Definitely, I'm only 50 mins from Hollister so it's a lot nicer drive than the 3+ hours you did last time.
I've been to Frank Raines and it's not the greatest place. We didn't hit up the whole park, but it's mostly moderate hill climbs and mud holes.
