Lately while driving I am hearing some creaking/squeling noises. Seems to be loudest when i let off the throttle. Is it probably the ball joints? How do i remedy this? I dont recall hearing it when i bought it a few weeks ago...

does it sound like an airplane taking off when you go from a complete stop to highway speed?

rear pinion bearing (rear diff) was my issue when that happened./ it was so loud i could barely hear my stereo. water in the gear oil caused that.

The couple of months prior to my LBJ breaking, I heard creaking/ squeaks when at slower speeds and generally when just barely turning the wheel either right or left slowly. Also the steering wheel wouldn't straighten out on it's own coming out of a full turn if I took my hands off of the wheel. I had done the steering rack & front sway bar bushings thinking it had something to do with the noises I was hearing.

Throttle had nothing to do with it in my experience; I'd venture to say yours is a driveshaft/ drivetrain issue or possibly UCA or LCA bushings.

If it's squealing when you let off the throttle, then I would hazard a guess that it's a driveshaft issue as well.

Is it a 'chirping' sound more than a 'squealing' sound? If so, grease up your driveshaft zerk fittings (u-joint, double cardan) and it should go away.

My 4Runner sounded like a flock of birds going down the road until I got underneath with the grease gun.

Check it out, worth a look.
