Cruise cancels with turn signals

Am I the only one with this 'problem'? Kinda annoying even though I don't use my cruise much, they few times I do the moment I use my turn signals to signal a lane change the cruise cancels.

My other autos don't do this. Any idea the reasoning or does mine have a problem? :cowboy:

I had LED tail lights (maybe brake lights, I forget), and one of the lights went bad and caused the same issue for me.

I replaced with standard bulbs and the issue was resolved.

I assume that a new working LED would have fixed the problem as well, but I had just gotten a warning from a cop for the tail light, and the closet WalMart did not have LED replacements.

Tail light/brake light circuit crossing, at the bulb (a burnt filament can short to its neighbor) or in the wiring is your first suspect. What happens is the turn signal voltage gets into the brake circuit, and the CC brain thinks you stepped on the brake.

Put a voltmeter on the brake circuit between the pedal and the bulbs and you should see voltage when the turn signal is on and the brake is not. Then you just need to chase it down. Check the bulbs first. Pull each one in turn.
