Cruise Control - Nice Surprise

Talked to a stealership service manager. He was unaware of a change so he put a call into Toyota. Their technical assistance says that there is no change in the '05 cruise control resume "memory" for Canada. He couldn't comment on the US version or changes. None of the Canadian brochures or website literature indicates any change. There are no local '05's on the lot to test drive this feature. So...
1) Is there anyone with a Canadian '05 that can confirm the sequence of operations of the cruise resume feature?
2) Is there anyone with the US electrical diagrams for the '05 (I have the '03 diagram) for the cruise control circuit (preferably as a .pdf file?) I wouldn't mind seeing what changed.

Damn Cruise

I was confused by this when I first bought my 04 SR5. This was my first Toyota so I just figured it was a Toyota thing. I even made an appointment with the service dept. 2 weeks after I got the truck because I did not think it was right. After looking it up in the owners manual it explains that any drop in speed below 25MPH (40km/h) will cancel the memory. I just figured dumb@ss me for not reading the manual.

But we bought a 05 Camry LE 3 months ago and it does not lose the memory when you come to a stop. So go figure..... Maybe it is just a 04 issue or maybe not.

I will give it a try tonight on the way home. As you can tell I am working so hard and need to go home and rest.:beer:

Update:

Well I have been home and had that beer. The cruise on the 4Runner cancels out the preset speed anytime it drops below 25MPH and will not resume. It has to be reset.

My 05 Camry will resume to the preset speed even after a complete stop.

If there is a fix or updated software to fix this please make a post and let the rest of us know how it was done.
